Resizing an Image

I will use the same image I used for the cropping to resize. The original size is 43.1 M at 15 x10 inches and 300 DPI. There are two ways that the size of the image can be reduced and in many cases for publishing on the web you have to use both. You can reduce the image sown to 3×5 inches and 72 DPI which will reduce the image file size to 253.1 K, then saving it as a level 8 JPEG allows me to reduce it further to 108K.
