Two Point Perspective
Learning Outcome:
The student will be able to render a number of shapes in three dimensions using the perspective method.
Lesson:
The student should follow the direction that take place in the two videos to achieve the practice needed to create the two point perspective image that is needed.
This video helps to show the direction needed to bring about the necessary shapes and lines to help create the illusion of three dimensions and is a precursor to the two point perspective video which is needed to help create the more realistic drawings that use this system.
Once you have watched the videos, practice a little before getting started on creating your own version of a city block. You may add fences and foliage, you can even try to add people and the like, but I wouldn’t recommend that until you have a better grasp of what perspective drawing entails.
