Ancient Greece/Grade 7 – Alexander the Great
Learning Outcome: To gain an understanding of the importance and scope of Alexander the Great and his impact on the modern world.
Alexander the Great was a huge impact on the Greek people for many generations, he was also responsible for a number of cultural changes during his time alive.
Watch the video and keep in mind the important events and people.
Once the video has been viewed write a couple of brief paragraphs on the people most important to Alexander’s rise and the events that made the biggest impact on history.
This will need to be turned in before next class and posted on google classroom.
Selecting this video made sense to me for middle school history in that it uses both audio and uses text within the length of the video. The drawing aspect helps to keep the viewer engaged as well.
